On completion of the necessary assessment/s, parents will attend a feedback meeting at which recommendations will be made concerning intervention and management. This may include therapeutic treatment, referral to other specialists, liaison with teachers, a home programme, and parental support – all of which takes place within the context of the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring optimal progress for the infant, child and family. Comprehensive reports are issued on completion of all assessments. Treatment goals will be formulated and presented to parents within six weeks of the commencement of treatment. Progress will be reported on informally and in writing at regular intervals. We work closely with parents and empower them to play an active role in their child’s therapy program.
